Since last year’s The Force Awakens, I think it’s safe to say that most of the Star Wars fanbase is onboard for just about anything that Disney throws our way with this franchise. As with that movie, Disney is taking huge strides in making sure that the promotional marketing for their next venture, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is just right. TFA had some of the best trailers to come around in some time, each one raising the bar in levels of excitement, whilst keeping the plot details to a minimum. They also released a behind-the-scenes video that was just as wonderful as any trailer, reassuring the fans that they have every intention of making Star Wars the right way, and so, today we have that very same approach with a Rogue One “Celebration Reel”, giving us a fun inside look with the cast and crew and director Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) at the highly anticipated movie along with some new footage. We also get our first official poster for the film, sporting the Death Star consuming the background.
Getting really excited for this one, and with Episode VIII having just wrapped filming, it seems there’s not going to be a dull moment in this new and improved Star Wars universe. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters December 16th, 2016 and stars Felicity Jones, Forest Whitaker, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Diego Luna, Mads Mikkelsen, Riz Ahmed, Alan Tudyk.
